Wheeler Dealer Toss Machine

The Battery/Control Pack is a sophisticated piece of electronic equipment and, therefore, is shipped detached from the Wheeler Dealer Machine in order to minimize the chance of damage in transit. Attaching the Battery/Control Pack involves the following:

  1. Unpack the Machine and the Battery/Control Pack from their enclosures. The Battery Charger will be found in the same box as the Battery/Control Pack. The two Support Screws have been shipped inserted in the Battery/Control Pack and held in place with two Wing Nuts. Remove the nuts noting on which side of the Battery/Control Pack they were screwed on, as the screws will be reassembled in that direction. Also note the Charging Hole located on the bottom of the Battery/Control Pack. It is into this hole that the Battery Charging Jack will be inserted.
  2.   Open the Top Ramp of the Wheeler Dealer about 2 1/2 Feet. Tilt it up on a workbench so that ther machine forms an "A". This permits easy access to the two pre-drilled Support Holes in the base of the Metal Ramp.
  3. Line up the two through-holes that previously held the Support Screws with the two ramp Support Holes. From inside the Metal Ramp, run the screws through the Battery/Control Pack and screw on the two Wing Nuts. Note: Tighten the Wing Nuts with sufficient force as the use of the machine may later cause them to vibrate loose.
  4. Plug the Power Cable into the Receptacle in the side of the machine. The final result should resemble the photo above.
Charging

The Battery/Control Pack contains not one but two 12 VDC batteries wired in series to give a 24 VDC output. As mentioned above the Charging Jack (Plug) is first plugged into the Receptacle Hole found on the underside of the Battery/Control Pack and then into an AC wall outlet. Initially, after a slight delay the indicator light on the front panel will begin to blink, indicating that the batteries are being charged. The indicator light is capable of a three color range--Green, Yellow and Red. The colors indicate the following: Green: Full Charge. Yellow: Down Two volts. Red: Down Four Volts; time to recharge. Upon initially assembling the machine, if the light is not green, the battery should be charged until it is. A full charge will give more that 12 hours of playing time. But charging after each use increases battery life. Should the batteries be emptied, it will require an over night charge to bring them up to capacity. Never charge for more than two days as an over charge may blow the internal limit fuse in the Charger.
